Evaluation of the Marine Debris Tracker App on the West Coast
This March 30, 2017 report by Courtney Hann for the Marine Debris Alliance reports on work done to test the app, developed on the east coast for applicability and ease of use on the west coast. The project was funded by NOAA's Marine Debris Alliance.

West Coast Marine Debris Strategy (Oct. 2013)
The West Coast Governors Alliance on Ocean Health Marine Debris Action Coordination Team worked closely and collaboratively over three years to develop a Marine Debris Strategy; a non-prescriptive, regional framework to identify, assess, prevent, and reduce marine debris along the West Coast. This document characterizes the problem of marine debris, lays out the goals and objectives of the strategy, identifies barriers and challenges, gives suggested actions, and highlights several projects to facilitate recommended actions.
